SUMMER CAMP 2008 Opportunities Still Available
Seven-year-old Corinne went to Camp Logan for two days.  The night she came home, her mother heard her crying in her room. When she asked her daughter what was wrong, Corinne said, “I want to go back to camp.”

There are a few openings left for summer camp, and two special offers are available: $15 off a session paid in full during the Open House on Sunday, May 18, and $15 off when a Girl Scout and her non-Girl Scout friend register together and pay in full. Click here for all the details. Then
register a girl you know for camp today!

Leadership and Girl Scouting
Girl Scouting is dedicated to helping girls become the type of leaders they aspire to be. To help them, Girl Scouting is developing new resources we can all look forward to. Some of those tools include the Leadership Experience materials to be introduced later this summer. With a focus on helping girls discover, connect, and take action, the new books in the It’s Your World-Change It! series of leadership journeys, for example, are especially exciting. Change It Up! What Girls Say About Redefining Leadership
is the Girl Scout Reesarch Institute national survey that explores today’s girls’ conceptions of and aspirations toward leadership. It's available in PDF here with just one click. To read the highlights of the earlier research review, click here.

You know volunteering in the community is important. We know volunteering also impacts your jam-packed schedule. That’s why the easy FastTrack program is now available. It’s:
-- A short 6-week, 2-hour-per-week commitment
-- Easy to do because the materials are ready-to-go
-- A positive way to influence a small group of 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade girls

Collaborate with us today to bring the new FastTrack leadership experience to girls! For more information click here, then contact Janet Suter, Director of Membership Services, at (260) 422-3417, ext. 124, or e-mail her at janet.suter@gslimberlost.org.

Girl Scout Alumnae Stories Wanted
Since 1912, millions of women have had their lives positively influenced — sometimes even transformed — by their Girl Scout experience. Whether you are one of the 50 million women who were Girl Scouts, including Brownie Girl Scouts, or you were a volunteer or staff member who worked at the national or local level to help Girl Scouts reach their full potential, you are forever connected to a rich and vibrant movement.
