Girl Scouts of Limberlost Council, chartered by Girl Scouts of the U.S.A., administers programs in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Steuben and Wells counties in northeast Indiana. Our council history dates back to 1918. Today, across these counties in northern Indiana, nearly 10,000 girls of all ages are learning at troop meetings, building skills through individual and team activities, and giving back to the community through service projects. They are mentored by more than 2,000 adult volunteers who are helping them become leaders with a lasting sense of responsibility and accountability to their communities – local, national and global.

And we are working to create an even stronger organization for the future, committed to organizational strength and success, because being successful means enhanced abilities to provide the best programming for girls and support to volunteers. As a national organization, we’ve defined an exciting new framework for such an experience, and at Limberlost Council we look forward to working with girls to bring it to life in a compelling new way.
